The Monastery of Poblet
There is no doubt that one of the main protagonists of the architectural and historical heritage of the Conca de Barberà is the Monastery of Santa Maria de Poblet, the biggest inhabited monastery of Europe, and claimed historical heritage of the humanity by the UNESCO.
The monastery, located at the base of the Mountains of Prades, stands out because of its impressive soberness and austerity. It has different outbuildings worthy of visiting, such as "El Palau de l´Abat" (The Abbot's Palace), the capitular hall, the cloister, the Royal Palace or the gardens.
It is highly recommended to visit the church with the royal graves of the Crown of Aragón, where the grave of Jaime I, the conqueror, stands out.
Its origins can be found in the year 1151, and during its existence it has had and important role in the history of Catalunya. This is proven by the fact that its library preserves an important historical an artistic treasure of the Crown of Catalunya-Aragón.

- To go for a walk and see some of the near channels of Bellvís.

- To Visit the Bufalà house, where one can find "L´Anella de Can Bufalà" that was used to knock on the door. The traditional story tells that if a fugitive was able to knock on the Bufalà´s door before being captured, he had to receive asylum. This is remembered every year on the last weekend of the year, in "Els Firals de Bellvís". Other interesting places to visit are El Miracle, the chapel of "La Mare de Déu dels Sogues", the "Tossal de les Sogues" and the church.
