The Environs
The zone where Cal Princesa is located, in the outskirts of Bellvís, is also known as "the Holland of LLeida".
This name is due to the multitude of channels that are in the region and constitute places ideal to ride a bicycle.
The town of Bellvís belongs to the region of Pla d´Urgell and it is very near the cities of Mollerussa and LLeida. The estate of Cal Princesa is located next to the road that goes to the Poal, in a zone where there are other houses with the same style, with big gardens, pasture lands for cows and some horses.
Mollerussa, a few kilometres from Bellvís, is the capital of the region. The stay at Cal Princesa allows the visitors to enjoy the advantages of a small, calm, and cosy town, devoted mainly to the agriculture, and at the same time be closed to the cultural possibilities that offer the cities that are near.
The wine cellars in the zone are a well of culture. Usually they are interesting buildings because of their architecture and, moreover, they have taken roots in the land. Most of them were built at beginnings of the XX century, following the artistic tendencies of the so called agricultural modernism.
